Volume Bragg Gratings (VBGs) from Ondax are solid-state holographic filters formed within proprietary photosensitive glass. They provide ultra-stable, degradation-free performance across a wide range of conditions and optical intensities. Through patented manufacturing and rigorous testing, Ondax ensures exceptional consistency, reproducibility, and full traceability in every VBG.

VBGs lock the emission of a laser diode into a narrowed optical spectrum, increasing spectral brightness and ensuring highly stable optical performance over extended temperature ranges in a compact external cavity design without compromising power output.
