Qtechnology is a Danish technology company specializing in industrial vision solutions, with a strong focus on hyperspectral imaging. With more than 20 years of experience in developing cameras for industrial applications, Qtechnology combines advanced camera technology, embedded computing and artificial intelligence to deliver high-performance imaging solutions for industry and research.

Qtechnology’s product portfolio includes the Hypervision series of industrial hyperspectral cameras, designed to capture detailed spectral information beyond conventional RGB imaging. The Hypervision 1700 covers the spectral range from 430 to 1700 nm, while the Hypervision 1000 covers 430 to 1000 nm, enabling detailed analysis and identification of materials, surfaces and objects based on their spectral characteristics.

Hyperspectral imaging enables every pixel of an image to contain spectral information, making it possible to distinguish materials and characteristics that may not be visible with conventional cameras. This technology can be used for a wide range of applications, including industrial inspection, material identification, recycling, food processing, surface inspection and scientific research. Qtechnology’s solutions are designed to bring hyperspectral imaging into demanding real-world industrial environments.

In addition to its camera hardware, Qtechnology provides a dedicated software ecosystem for hyperspectral imaging. HV Explorer is a Python-based graphical interface for visualizing, investigating and analysing hyperspectral data, while the HV SDK provides a high-performance development environment for camera control, data acquisition and hyperspectral data processing. The SDK supports efficient processing pipelines as well as Python and C integrations, allowing workflows developed during evaluation and prototyping to be transferred into automated applications.

Qtechnology also develops solutions combining industrial cameras with embedded computing and AI technologies. This enables AI models to be developed and deployed directly on camera systems, opening up further possibilities for intelligent inspection and automated decision-making in industrial applications.
